Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is Formal Recruitment?
Formal Recruitment is a mutual selection process that allows you and the sorority members to get acquainted in a causal setting. Participating in Recruitment does not obligate you to join a sorority. It provides an opportunity for you to learn more about Greek life and everything it has to offer. During Recruitment, you may meet with all the different sororities on campus to learn about their chapters. Dress casually, be yourself, and above all, have fun while you meet the girls that may be your future Sisters!
2. The what is Informal/Unstructured Recruitment?
Informal Recruitment is a much more laidback way to meet the sisters of a sorority. Potential New Members are free to go from one sorority to another but are not forced to visit any they do not wish. The ways in which you meet the sisters also tends to be more relaxed than formal recruitment.
